PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Embry-Riddle University senior guard Ryan Exter had one of the best games of his career as he matched the single-game mark of nine three-pointers made and finished with 33 points - two shy of his career best with ERAU to earn the final Florida Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors of the 2006-07 season, conference officials announced today.
Exter now shares the ERAU record for three-pointers in a game with Kyle Mas who popped for nine on Dec. 29, 1998 against Susquehanna. Exter's sharpshooting (11-for-18 from the floor, 9-for-14 from three-point land) helped the Eagles post a decisive 75-53 victory against Edward Waters and gave Embry-Riddle the No. 4 seed in the FSC tournament.
Exter finished with 10 points, two rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal in a 67-62 road loss to second-place Florida Memorial.
