DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--Embry-Riddle junior third baseman Colin Gray was named FSC Player of the Week for the second time this season, conference officials announced today.
The Ormond Beach, Fla. native was torrid at the plate last week, batting 10-for-13 with a homer, two triples, and eight RBI in a 3-0 week for the No. 18 Eagles.
Against St. Xavier, Gray was 4-for-5 and scored the winning run in a 9-8 comeback win.
Hosting No. 13 Bellevue, Gray was 3-for-3 with a homer and a triple, and added four RBI. He also had three hits and a triple in a 20-3 win over Rio Grande.
