PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- No. 2 Embry-Riddle University freshman Albane Flamant earned her first career medalist honors winning the Bash at the Beach March 31-April 1st at the Daytona Beach Golf Club's South Course to help the Eagles to a second-place team finish among 11 teams.  For her efforts, she was named Florida Sun Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week for the week ending April 1st, conference officials announced today. 

Flamant claimed first of 55 golfers with an even-par 142 (70-72=142) on the 5,823-yard par-71 course.  She opened the event with 1-under-par 70 in the first round, finishing with the day’s low score to help the Eagles to a five-stroke lead after the first round and closed out the tournament with a 72, but Daytona Beach Community College caught the Eagles to take the team title.
