PORT ORANGE, Fla. - Savannah College of Art and Design sophomore forward Melissa Feuerriegel was named the first Florida Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week of the 2007 season, conference officials announced today.

Feuerriegel recorded five points in a 1-1 week for the No. 17 Bees. After being shut out in a 2-0 loss to Flagler, Feuerriegel netted two goals and an assist in 3-2 win over No. 13 Berry. Feuerriegel leads the team in goals (4), assists (2), and points (10) in 2007.
