PORT ORANGE, Fla.—Northwood University sophomore goalie Adi Jurman was named Florida Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 16th, conference officials announced today.
Jurman notched one shutout as the Seahawks went 2-0 last week. After making five saves in a 5-1 win over Webber International, Jurman notched her second clean sheet with two saves in a 4-0 win over Robert Morris (Ill.).
Jurman also earned NAIA Region XIV Defensive Player of the Week honors.
