PORT ORANGE, Fla.--Embry-Riddle senior goalkeeper Stephanie Taylor was named Florida Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 23rd, conference officials announced today.
Taylor made 13 saves in a huge win over St. Thomas which had entered the match at 5-1 (with their lone loss coming against NCAA DII Palm Beach Atlantic University). Despite allowing an early goal, Taylor thwarted several attacks from the Bobcats as the Eagles came back to win 2-1.
