PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Sophomore center Kara Otterbine averaged 15.5 points on 66.7 percent from the field (14-for-21) and added 6.5 rebounds to help Northwood University to a 2-0 week and improved to 5-0 overall to earn Florida Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors, conference officials announced today.
Otterbine recorded 15 points with six boards, two assists and one block to help the Seahawks post a 100-40 victory over Clearwater Christian and then closed out the week with 16 points (7-for-11 from the field) and seven rebounds in an 88-42 win against Southeastern (Fla.).

She recorded 13 points (6-for-16 from the floor), nine rebounds, six assists, one block and five steals in a 62-46 home win against Allen and then recorded six points, three boards, two assists and three steals in a 63-30 road win against Allen).
