PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Junior Denver Cobb had an amazing week helping No. 5 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University post a 3-0 week averaging 20.0 points (73.1 percent from the floor and 58.3 percent from beyond the three-point arc), 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals to earn Florida Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors, conference officials announced today.

Cobb recorded 18 points with two boards, three assists and four steals going 7-for-8 from the floor and 4-for-5 from downtown in a 92-69 road win at Florida College.  Then the ERAU tri-captain earned tournament MVP honors at the Daytona Mitsubishi Shootout with 20 points (5-of-6 from the field and 9-of-10 from the free throw line), five rebounds and three assists in a 92-78 win against Graceland.  He followed with 22 points (7-for-12 from the field with a pair of three's and 6-of-7 from charity stripe), two boards, two assists, two steals and a block in a 70-62 victory in the championship game against NAIA DI Carroll (Mont.).  The Eagles are now 8-0 on the season.

Eze Andrews, SCAD (6-7 * Sr. * C from West Orange, N.J. - scored 23 points with six rebounds, two assists and block in a 71-66 win against Southern (La.) and then followed with 11 points, nine boards, two assists and blocks in a 69-62 loss against No. 10 NAIA DI Xavier (La.) host of the Adidas Hardwood Classic)
