PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Savannah College of Art & Design junior guard Xavier Blain-Cruz averaged 22 points, six rebounds, and shot 72 percent from the field to lead the Bees to a 2-0 week and earn Florida Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced today.
Playing in the Maine-Fort Kent Tournament, Blain-Cruz scored 21 points with six rebounds, including 4-4 from three point range against the hosts, and against Daemen (N.Y.) he added 23 points with six boards. On the week, Blain Cruz shot 86 percent from three.
