PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Northwood University junior forward DeSean White averaged 19.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.3 steals helping the Seahawks post a 3-1 record on the week to earn Florida Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced today.

White recorded 23 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the floor with five rebounds, an assist, block and steal to lead NU to a 127-69 road win against Florida Christian.  He followed with 16 points, five boards, two assists, a block and a steal in an 80-54 win against University of Puerto Rico-Cayey and posted 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in a 70-64 victory against University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon.  Despite closing out the week with a 76-70 loss against Bloomfield, White recorded 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists and a steal.

On the week he shot 50.8 percent from the floor (30-for-59) and was 38.5 percent from beyond the arc (10-for-26).
