DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Warner Southern guard Brandon Hamilton earned Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week honors after leading the Royals to two conference wins last week. The Sarasota, Fla. junior averaged17.5 points and 11.5 rebounds on the week.
On Wednesday, Warner Southern took on Webber International at the Amway Arena in Orlando. Hamilton score 19 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field. He was 2-of-4 from beyond the arc and 7-of-10 from the charity stripe and pulled down a career high 17 boards in the Royals’ 72-63 win.
On Saturday, Hamilton helped Warner Southern secure its hold on first place in the league standings, registering 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals in an 80-62 win over Florida Memorial.
