DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Savannah College of Art and Design junior, Richard Sullivan is the first Florida Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week for the 2008 season.

Sullivan tallied a win over Tennessee Temple University on Friday, Feb. 8, moving his record to 2-1 on the season. In the win, he tied a school record with 14 strikeouts in the game. The record was last set in March of  2000. In eight innings pitched he allowed five hits, two runs and walked two batters.

Along with being named the FSC Pitcher of the Week, he is also the NAIA Region XIV Pitcher of the Week.
