DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Warner Southern freshman Ivan Soberal averaged 17.3 points and 5.7 rebounds over three games to earn her second straight Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week honor, the league office announced on Tuesday.
After putting up 14 points with three assists, a block, a steal and a 3-for-4 night from the free throw line in a 66-62 win over Southeastern, Soberal tied her career high in points with 23 and pulled down a career high 14 rebounds in a 60-49 loss to Florida Memorial.
On Saturday, she scored in double figures for the third straight game with 15 points and three boards in a 58-50 loss to Warner Southern.
Soberal finished the week shooting .452 (19-42) from the field, .455 (10-22) from beyond the arc, and .571 (4-7) from the charity stripe.
