DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Adam Miller, a right handed pitcher from SCAD, threw a no-hitter against Pikeville earning him the title of Florida Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Miller was the third Bee in school history to blank a team. He led his team to a 1-0 win striking out nine. He allowed two walks  and faced 24 batters in the contest. It was his second appearance of the week and fourth  win of the season. Miller pitched one inning in the Bee's win against Bellarmine, 7-2, earlier in the week.

This season he has pitched 36.0 innings and has struck out 33 batters, while holding his ERA to 0.75.

Other nominees included: Justin Knoll, Northwood; Rene Ramirez, Warner Southern; and Miguel Hernandez, St. Thomas.
