DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Senior Kyle Albright was named the Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week for the third week in April after his efforts last week aided the Eagles' clinch of the conference title. This was announced by the Conference office on Tuesday.
Albright led the Eagles with eight RBI on the week, hitting in the clean-up slot for the first time since the second week of the season. He had a career-high six RBI on Friday and hit a three-run home run in the same game. He had a double in the Eagle's ten-run rule victory on Saturday.
On the week he hit .571 averaging two hits, one run, and two RBI per game. On the season Albright is hitting .329 with 51 hits, 38 RBI and a team-leading 35 runs.
