DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Senior left-handed pitcher, Jordan Roberts, from Embry-Riddle was named the Florida Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday by the Conference office.
Roberts threw six complete innings in the Eagles' 8-2 victory over Florida Memorial. He struck out eleven of the 20 batters he faced, while giving up only one hit and no runs. Roberts picked up his eighth win of the season, improving his ERA to 1.72.
Other nominees include: Neil Forsyth, Northwood; Brandon Barrington, Edward Waters; and Rene Ramirez, Warner Southern.
