DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Sherman Ferguson was named the Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week after hitting two home runs while hitting .563 on the week. This was announced Tuesday by the Conference office.

Ferguson averaged 2.3 hits per game, with nine runs and nine hits in four games played. He had two home runs in one game against St. Thomas and marked four RBI on the week.

Other nominees include: Nik Smith, Northwood; Richard Sullivan, SCAD; James Kissinger, Embry-Riddle; and Shane Ynclan, Warner Southern.
