DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Senior first baseman from Embry-Riddle, Kyle Albright was named the Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday by the Conference office after hitting three home runs in three games played last week.
Albright had two jacks in the Eagles game against Rollins College, where he went 2-for-3 with five RBI. He was the 19th Eagle in the history of ERAU baseball to hit two home runs in one game. He has 10 home runs on the season.
On Saturday, against Thomas, Albright hit .333 with three RBI and one home run. On the week he hit .500 and had a slugging percentage of 2.00 averaging one home run, 2.7 RBI, and one run per game.
