DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced Monday that Embry-Riddle junior, Eric Lorenzi was named the Player of the Week after leading the Eagles to a 3-0 week.
Lorenzi posted his third and fourth double-doubles of the season against NCAA DII Flagler with 11 points and 12 rebounds, and 20 points, 10 boards against Northwestern Ohio in the championship game of the San Antonio Trip Sports Classic. At the conclusion of the Classic Lorenzi was named to the All-Tournament team as he tallied 35 points, 19 boards and six assists over the two-day tournament.
Other nominees include: Christian Moore, SCAD; Cesar Jacobo Chavez, St. Thomas.
