DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Dominique Collier was selected as The Sun Conference Player of the Week after leading the St. Thomas women’s basketball team to a 2-1 record during the week ending Dec. 13. The freshman forward averaged 13.3 points and 11.7 rebounds on the week.
Collier started out the week with 16 points and seven boards in a 66-33 win over Johnson & Wales (Fla.). She then put together a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds in a tough 50-43 loss to NCAA II No. 18 Barry and closed out the week with another double-double (11 points, 12 rebounds) in the Bobcats’ 60-30 win over Talladega College.
