DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Warner sophomore Ivan Soberal led the Lady Royals to a 1-1 record to earn The Sun Conference women's basketball Player of the Week honors for the week ending Dec. 21.
Soberal tallied eight points and two rebounds in a 69-58 loss to eighth-ranked Sterling. Against Guilford, she connected on a career-high six three-pointers to lead Warner to an 87-64 win. Soberal totaled 22 points on six of 11 shooting from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line and contributed three boards and two assists.
