DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Junior Cindy Castrillon earned The Sun Conference women's basketball Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after leading St. Thomas to a 2-1 record last week. Castrillon averaged 22.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and three assists, and shot 75 percent from the free throw line in three games at the Warner University New Year's Tournament.
Castrillon's 28 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals helped the Bobcats to a 78-71 win over Alice Lloyd in their first game of the week. She tallied 17 points, three boards and three assists in a 67-59 loss to Lindsey Wilson, and closed out the week with a 30 point performance in a 76-61 win over Montana Western.
