DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Florida Memorial junior, Andre Thomas was named The Sun Conference Player of the Week for hte week beginning Jan. 26.
Thomas led the Lions to two crucial wins in league play last week, topping Edward Waters and SCAD. He led the team with 18 points against the Tigers and 25 ticks against he Bees. He averaged 21.5 points per game and marked 11 boards on the week. He accompanied his stat line with three assists, two blocks and eight steals.
Other nominees included: Eric Lorenzi (Embry-Riddle), Antonio Jones (St. Thomas), Ian Robinson (Webber International), Jay Duncan (Northwood), Lamont Houston (Warner), Xavier Blain-Cruz (SCAD), and VanRossi Holder (Edward Waters).
