DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Christina Daniels, a junior at Northwood, has been named The Sun Conference Player of the Week for the week beginning Jan. 26.
Daniels led the Seahawks to three wins on the week, as she averaged just over 20 minutes per game while she had 47 points eight boards and five assists. On the week she averaged 15.7 points per game, shooting 57.6 percent from the field and 70 percent fro three point range.
Other nominees include: Keisha Alexander (Florida Memorial), Nikki King (Webber International), Carissa Staiano (St. Thomas), Karyna Cid (Warner) and Katie Stover (SCAD).
