DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- For the second week in a row, St. Thomas junior Antonio Jones was chosen as The Sun Conference men's basketball Player of the Week on Feb. 9. He finished the week averaging 25 points and 5.5 rebounds per game to lead the Bobcats to two wins on the week.
On Wednesday, Jones used his home court advantage to put up 22 points in a 71-62 win over Edward Waters. He shot 8-of-16 from the floor, 4-of-10 from beyond the arc and was 2-of-3 from the free throw line.
On Saturday, he tallied 28 points in 37 minutes of play to lead St. Thomas to a 69-64 upset of sixth-ranked Northwood. He had seven rebounds and four assists in that game and was 14-of-16 from the charity stripe.
