DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – St. Thomas freshman Dominique Collier earned The Sun Conference Player of the Week for women’s basketball for the week ending Feb. 22. Collier, who garnered the honor earlier this season, averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 steals to lead the Bobcats to a share of the program’s first ever conference regular season championship.
In the Bobcats’ first game of the week, Collier tallied 18 points and eight boards in a 91-67 win over Webber International. She closed out the week with a double-double (16 pts, 14 reb) to lead St. Thomas past Warner, 62-50.
