DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle junior left-hander, Justin Zinkovich has earned his third honor as the Conference Pitcher of the Week after tallying two wins for the Eagles last week. This was announced Monday by The Sun Conference.
Zinkovich picked up two wins on the week, against Jamestown and Missouri Baptist. He pitched 12.0 innings in the two starts to earn his sixth and seventh wins of the season. Zinkovich gave up only one hit to Jamestown while striking out five of their batters. He allowed only three runs on nine hits to the sharp hitting Missouri Baptist Spartans.
On the season, Zinkovich has a 1.74 ERA and leads the Eagles from the mound with 52.1 innings pitched and 51 strikeouts.
