DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the second time this season, Webber International junior Ciao Cardoso was tabbed as The Sun Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week. Cardoso helped the Warriors to a 3-0 record on the week, winning all three of his singles and doubles matches. Playing at No. 3 singles, Cardoso defeated his opponent from Bethel 6-1, 6-2 and followed with a 7-5, 6-1 win over the No. 3 player from Roger Williams before closing out the week with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over his counterpart from Georgetown (Ky.). He teamed up with Philippe Andermatt to notch 8-4 doubles wins against Bethel and Georgetown and the duo also earned an 8-1 win against Roger Williams.
