DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Junior left-handed pitcher Justin Zinkovich, of Embry-Riddle, has earned his fourth nod as the Conference Pitcher of the Week during the 2009 season, announced Monday by The Sun Conference.
Zinkovich led the Eagles in the first of their three-game sweep over conference opponent, Northwood. He earned his ninth win of the season as he pitched eight innings of shut-out baseball. Zinkovich struck out nine Seahawk batters while allowing only three hits.
