DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Patrick Braswell, a sophomore from SCAD, has been named the Conference Player of the Week announced Monday by The Sun Conference.
Braswell hit .727 this past week, as he led the Bees to win three of four games. He tied a college record with five hits in a win over Northwood. In the game he connected on three doubles, tying another SCAD record. In addition to the single game record, his two-year career total of 50 has tied SCAD's career record for doubles. On the week, Braswell was 8-for-11 from the plate with four runs and three RBI.
On the season, he is hitting .399 with 55 hits and 32 RBI.
