DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - After leading his team to a sweep of Florida Memorial, Jerod Mathis of Webber International has been named The Sun Conference Player of the Week.
Mathis hit .467 on the week, slugging for an average of 1.000. He posted four multiple base hits including two doubles and two home runs. He was 7-for-15 from the plate with six runs and five RBI. His final home run of the weekend set a school record for hits in a season with 76.
