DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - For the second straight week Embry-Riddle's Dina Roper has been named The Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 11, 2009.
Roper shut out her sixth team of the year on Wednesday, saving 10 balls in 90 minutes of action against SCAD. The sophomore has started every game for the Eagles, helping ERAU to an 8-4 record including six wins in a row.
