DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference has announced that Matthew Rolle is the men's basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 15-22. Rolle, a Florida Memorial sophomore, scored 68 points in the Lions' four games last week.
In a six-point loss to Florida International, Rolle managed 17 points, three rebounds and three assists. Rolle followed that game with a 15-point, nine rebound performance against Barry.
Rolle produced 22 points and six rebounds in a win against Georgia Southern, then wrapped up his week with a double-double of 14 points and 10 boards against Valdosta State.
On the week Rolle averaged 17 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one block and 1.8 steals.
