DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Junior center Nikki King garnered her fourth Sun Conference Player of the Week honor of the 2009-10 season on Feb. 8. King averaged 19 points and 14 rebounds per game to lead Webber International to a 1-1 record on the week.
In the Warriors’ first game of the week, King posted a double-double, tallying 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 66-49 defeat of Johnson & Wales. She was 4-of-8 from the field and 6-of-10 from the charity stripe in the contest.
King gave the Warriors a solid 24-point, 17-board performance against Northwood, adding two blocks, four steals and an assist. She connected on nine field goals and six free throws in Webber International’s 72-60 loss to the Seahawks.
