DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the second week in a row, Webber International senior Phillipe Andermatt was tabbed as The Sun Conference men’s tennis Player of the Week. Andermatt helped the Warriors to a 5-0 record on the week, winning all five singles and five doubles matches.
Andermatt partnered with Caio Cardoso for a 5-0 doubles record playing at the top spot, including an 8-3 win over the top doubles team from No. 23 Olivet Nazerene. After winning back-to-back three-setters playing No. 1 singles against St. Francis and Aquinas, Andermatt dropped just eight games in his next three matches to extend his winning streak to five matches.
