DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –Southeastern junior Kyle Petrick led the Fire to five wins in seven games to earn Sun Conference Player of the Week honors for the week ending Mar. 14. Petrick played all seven games at first base and closed out the week batting .529 (9-for-17) with four doubles, a triple a home run, nine runs scored, 18 RBI and a 1.059 slugging percentage.

Petrick went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, two runs scored and three RBI to help Southeastern to a 10-0 win in the first game of a doubleheader against Cincinnati Christian University. He drove in four runs on two hits, including a double, in the second game of the twin bill.

His next outing saw Petrick post a perfect day at the plate as he was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a round tripper and seven RBI as the Fire blanked Valley Forge Christian 27-0.
