DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Senior pitcher Kristen LeFan has been named The Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time during the 2010 season, conference officials announced Monday afternoon.
Webber International's Lefan pitched two games on the week against conference opponent Edward Waters, picking up two wins for the Warriors. In the first contest, LeFan struck out 12 and gave up only one hit and one run in the 11-1 in, while LeFan struck out 10 and gave up only one hit in the second of the two games.
The Warriors are now 24-17 overall, after going 3-0 on the week.
