DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference has announced that SCAD's Stephen Shackleford is the Pitcher of the Week for games played Apr. 26-May 2, 2010.
Shackleford, a junior from Louisville, Ky., pitched eight innings last week, allowing eight runs (seven earned) while allowing just eight hits. He received the win in the Bees' 11-6 victory over Edward Waters on Saturday, a game in which he struck out 12 Tiger hitters. Shackleford's win was key in securing SCAD a spot in The Sun Conference baseball tournament.
