DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - SCAD's Scott Shambaugh has been selected as The Sun Conference's Player of the Week for the week ending May 2, 2010.
Shambaugh became only the fourth player in SCAD's history to hit two home runs in a single game, a feat he accomplished over the weekend against Edward Waters. He finished the week going 8-for-14 with five RBIs, two runs scored and three extra-base hits. Shambaugh helped lead the Bees to a spot in The Sun Conference tournament as the No. 4 seed.
