DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - For the third consecutive week an Embry-Riddle Eagle has been selected as the Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer. The Sun Conference announced on Monday that Elina Johansson earned Player of the Week accolades for her performance during the week of Sept. 13-19.

Johansson and the Eagles traveled to Savannah, Ga. to participate in the SCAD Invitational this past weekend where the senior from Strangnas, Sweden put on an offensive clinic.

Johansson grabbed her sixth career hat trick in the Eagles' 6-0 shutout over Grace (Ind.) on Friday. Johansson also assisted on two other goals in the win over the Lancers. On Sunday, Johansson scored a pair of goals and also contributed her seventh assist of the season.

Johansson has six goals and seven assists on the year, which rank her second in the NAIA in total assists.
