DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Shelby Dieckamp of SCAD Savannah has been selected as The Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 24, 2010, the conference office announced Monday. Dieckamp led the Bees to a pair of conference victories during the week, improving their record to 10-4-3 on the season.
The freshman from Indianapolis, Ind. picked up a goal against Ave Maria as SCAD soundly defeated the Gyrenes, 6-0. Dieckamp followed that effort with her first career hat trick against Southeastern, as the Bees knocked off the Fire, 4-0. Dieckamp's three goals marked the first time all year that a SCAD Savannah player scored more than one goal in a single game.
