Eagle Women Finish 16th at NAIA National Championships
VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Embry-Riddle women's cross country team placed three runners in the top 75 to finish 16th overall at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The Eagles scored 431 points with a total time of 1:39:57. The finish was the highest ever for Embry-Riddle.
Flo Vazquez just missed All-America status with her 31st place finish; the top 30 runners earn All-America honors. Vazquez ran the course in 18:58.
Samia Adan (19:43) and Alex Salinas (19:55) finished 80th and 104th respectively.
Rounding out the Eagle scorers were Erika Langhauser (20:38) and Beth McCubbin (20:43).
Vazquez's finish was the highest ever for an ERAU women's runner at the NAIA National Championship.
