#14 Northwood University Men's Basketball Continues Conference Win Streak With Win Over Florida Memorial 79-73

WEST PALM BEACH, FL --- #14 Northwood University Seahawks (18-4, 6-3 TSC) took their second conference game in a row Saturday night as they defeated Florida Memorial University (6-17, 4-5 TSC) 79-73.

   Junior Jeremy Barr put up a huge double-double for Coach Massimino’s Seahawks, as he finished with a season high 21 points with 11 rebounds. Barr would end the game 8-9 from the floor. To go along with Barr’s breakout game, Senior Lester Hunte would also have a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists.
 
   The Florida Memorial Lions had a diverse offensive plan as 5 players would have double digit points. George Greg would lead the Lions and the game with 27 total points. Keith Holmes went 5-6 from the floor to finish the night with 13 points. Matthew Rollie had a team high six rebounds to go along with his 11 points. Jason Anthony and Roderick Davis would both add 10 points each to the Lion’s total.
 
    #14 Northwood University Men’s Basketball Team will look to make it three conference wins in a row as they take on Webber International University on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM in the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center on the campus of Northwood University.
