The unofficial kickoff to the tournament comes Wednesday night, when the All-Sun Conference team and superlative awards will be announced at the annual awards banquet.

Tournament play begins at 11 a.m. Thursday with no. 4 seed USCB (30-20, 12-12 TSC) taking on no. 5 seed Webber International (18-19, 10-14).  No. 3 seed Warner (33-13, 17-7) will face No. 6 seed Keiser (21-18, 9-15) in the second game at 1:30 p.m.  The winner of  USCB-Webber International will then play top-seeded Thomas (35-13, 19-5) at 4 p.m.  Thursday’s final game will feature no. 2 seed Southeastern (39-13, 18-6) vs. the winner of the Warner-Keiser game.

Play resumes at Friday with two elimination games, followed by the winner’s bracket final and two more elimination games. The championship game is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday with a second game to follow if necessary.

Thomas earned the number one seed by winning The Sun Conference regular season with a 19-5 conference record.  Southeastern finished second in the conference standings, one game behind Thomas.  Warner earned the third seed in the tournament after finishing two games back of Thomas in the regular season standings.  USCB, Webber International and Keiser finished fourth through sixth in the regular season to round out the tournament field.
