Keiser Selected to win Men's Tennis Regular Season Crown
The reigning three-time Sun Conference champions, Keiser Seahawks were picked by the league coaches to claim the 2019 title.
The Seahawks were the unanimous favorite in the Sun Conference Men’s Tennis Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Keiser earned seven first-place votes with coaches unable to vote for their own team.
Keiser is coming off their second straight final four appearance and first NAIA National Championship match in program history. Coastal Georgia was picked second after receiving the final first-place vote and 43 total points, and St. Thomas is third with 33 points,
Ave Maria and Webber were tied in the fourth spot with 22 points, Southeastern is sixth with 21 points. SCAD is seventh with 18 points, and Warner has 16 points.
The conference tournament will be held at Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia, on April 25
th and 26
th. The site will play host to both the men’s and women’s semifinal and championship matches.
