The 2019 Sun Conference Men’s Basketball Championships (Feb. 19-23)
- Top six teams qualify
- Seeds No. 1 and No. 2 get opening-round byes with No. 1 seed hosting the semis and finals (Feb. 22-23)
- Opening Round – Tuesday, Feb. 19 (campus sites – higher seeds)

Key Matchups (2/7)
Thomas at Ave Maria – TU is currently in the No. 6 spot (due to tiebreak over Coastal Georgia) and is looking to distance themselves from the No. 7 seed. A win by AMU and the Gyrenes are in.
Warner at St. Thomas – The Royal’s magic number to clinch the regular-season title is three. A win by WU and a loss by Ave Maria and the Royals clinch a first-round bye. STU sits a half game ahead of Thomas (No. 6 seed) and will be looking to gain ground on Keiser (No. 4 seed).
Coastal Georgia at Southeastern – A win for the Fire and they are in. CCG is currently on the outside looking in (TU currently holds tiebreaker) and needs a win to possibly jump into the No. 6 spot.
