TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference is excited to announce its ninth Football Game of the Week of the 2025 season. The [RV] Florida Memorial University Lions will host the Webber International University Warriors on Saturday, November 1st in week five of conference action.
Viewed as a must-watch non-conference matchup, here are a few added notes ahead of the matchup.
Florida Memorial Notes
- Florida Memorial University is 3-4 on the season.
- The Lions are coming off a historic game, defeating Thomas 85-7 in Thomasville, Ga.
- 85 points is the most the Lions have scored in a game in program history. The defense also allowed the fewest yards in a game in program history, allowing only 122 yards and the fewest points allowed in program history with 7.
- QB Tedric Wilcox and K Sean Egloff were named SUN Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week after their performances.
- Wilcox was named NAIA National Offensive Player of theWeek, after completing 17 of 29 passes for 259 yards and 8 TDs.

Webber International Notes
- Webber is 4-4 on the season, featuring wins over Stetson, Fort Lauderdale, Warner, and Ave Maria.
- The Warrior Rushing Attack has eclipsed 200 yards three times this season, with a season high of 249 in the Lake Caloosa Clash against Warner.
- Dorian Manuel and D'Markus Mathis lead the Warriors in rushing. Manuel has 260 yards on the ground and a TD, while Mathis has 231 and 3 TDs.
- Johnny Lewis Jr. and Trent Grotjan lead the Warrior Passers with 3 and 2 TDs, respectively.
- Caden Morrell leads the Warriors with 49 tackles on the year, and also has an interception, two forced fumbles, and a Scoop and Score touchdown. Omar Goosby is the second-highest tackler with 42 tackles, and Matthew Smiciklas has 4 interceptions.
- Kendall Johnson is the Warriors' leading return man with an 85-yard Kickoff return touchdown, while Jaxson Rivera has an average punt of 40 yards, with 3 over 50, and 14 placed inside the 20.
