Baseball Players of the Week -

Player of the Week
Alfonso Villalobos, Southeastern | Gr. - Infielder - Kirkland, Quebec
On a week where any batter from the Fire roster could be nominated, Villalobos did the most damage. Not only did Fonsi have one game with six RBIs, he had two, both dominant wins over Dordt (27-6) and #21 Concordia (Neb.) (15-6). Nine hits, and 13 RBIs, with three homers were the weeks totals, as well as four walks and one hit by pitch. Over the six games he finished with a .409 average and got on base 50 percent of the time with a .909 slugging percentage. Finishing in the field with nine putouts, seven assists, and two double plays turned.
Pitcher of the Week
Aaron Robertson, Southeastern | Sr. - Left-Handed Pitcher - Everett, Wash.
Robertson went the distance in the scheduled seven inning contest versus #21 Concordia (Neb.). 14 Strikeouts was the number, and only one earned run due to six hits. The complete game bumped his record up to 5-0 on the season, finishing the game with a 1.29 ERA and an 18.00 k/9.

Raylei McKinney, Southeastern | So. - Outfielder - Brandon, Miss.
With eight games in one week, Raylei McKinney was the definition of consistency for the Fire. Collecting a hit, run, or RBI in every game. Over the week she notched 12 hits, and 10 RBIs, crossing home plate six times. Taking one walk, and stealing two bases. Additionally she blasted home runs in back-to-back games. Her efforts helped lead the #16 Fire to a 7-1 week.
Pitcher of the Week
Anna Toon, St. Thomas | Sr. - Pitcher/Utility - Great Falls, Mont.
Anna Toon recorded 33 innings pitched last week, 14 of which were in the Bobcats 3-0 series against the Warriors. Toon records 36 strikeouts this week, averaging 7.6 per game.

Defensive Player of the Week
Chloe Zundel, SCAD Savannah | Jr. - Goalkeeper - Santa Clarita, Calif.
Zundel had a big week for the Bees. SCAD went 3-0 to remain undefeated this season, including wins over No. 2 University of the Cumberlands and an OT win over NCAA DII Lincoln Memorial University. In the OT win over LMU, the junior totaled a season-high 15 saves. Zundel also totaled nine ground balls on the week.
Offensive Player of the Week
Ellen Benintendi, SCAD Savannah | Fr. - Midfielder - Cincinnati, Ohio
Benintendi continues to be an offensive force for the Bees. The freshman totaled 12 goals and three assists as SCAD went 3-0 with wins over NCAA DII Grove City, No. 2 Cumberlands, and an OT win over NCAA DII Lincoln Memorial to remain undefeated on the year. The freshman leads the Bees in goals (34) and points (40) and is second in the NAIA in goals.

The ones pair for the Crusaders went 3-0 on the week to help their team to a 3-0 record in their Sun Conference pod this weekend. Defeating Florida Memorial, Ave Maria, and St. Thomas, the duo improves to 4-1 on the year.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Diego Menendez, Southeastern | Sr. - Gijon, Spain
The Fire only had one match this week, but an important one nonetheless, battling #14 Cumberland University (Tenn.). Once again #24 Menendez rolled through his opponents, remaining the only member on the team to complete all of his matches, with an added bonus of all of them being wins. #4 Menendez/Fernandez defeated Vitor Ferreira and Julian Parada on flight one in dominating fashion. Right after #24 Menedez did Ferreira in straight sets on line one.
Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Violet Apisah, Keiser | Jr. - Sydney, Australia
Another solid match from Violet Apisah who continues to rack up the wins. In Keiser's win over Division II, No. 23 Wayne State, Apisah and her sister Patricia defeated the No. 4 doubles team in Division II. In singles, Violet won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2 against the No. 20 player in D-II.

Spencie McCranie, Southeastern | So. - Lake City, Fla.
McCranie helped to lead the Fire at the Spring SkyHawk Classic, finished second overall and guiding the Fire to the tournament win in a tie-breaker playoff. McCranie also knocked home 11 birdies.

Makayla Modeste, Life | Fr. - Linebacker - Decatur, Ga.
Modeste made a house call on a pick-six against Emmanuel in a strong defensive showing for the Running Eagles. There were a limited number of tackles and picks available in this one as the defense forced a number of 3 and outs.
Offensive Player of the Week
Kathryn Hutchinson, Warner | So. - Quarterback - Woodstock, Ga.
The Royals showed up and showed out this week with two dominant wins over Siena Heights (54-0) and Atlantis (52-0) and QB1 Kathryn Hutch had a lot to do with that. Over the week she went 35/52 completions for 375 yards and 12 passing touchdowns.

Luis Burgos, Warner | Fr. - Ponco, Puerto Rico
Luis was able to take down Webber's roster taking 12 stocks in game 1. Luis is our SSBU team captain and maintains a 4.0 gpa. He is our FCA leader for esports and does a fantastic job managing his time and serving his teammates. Proud of his performance with all that he juggles.
Overwatch 2 Player of the Week
Sebastian "Seb" Lowe, SCAD Savannah | Fr.
Sebastian led the way for the Bees for the second straight week to a 3-0 series victory. Over the course of the 3-match series, Seb totaled over 50 kills, 20k damage, and only 5 deaths.

Davien Worrels, Southeastern | Sr. - Wesley Chapel, Fla.
Worrels dominated in both of his events in the kickoff to the outdoor track season. Taking first in both the 100 and the 200.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
David Buggs, Florida Memorial | So. - Kissimmee, Fla.
FMU starting quarterback David Buggs earned a first place finish in the men's discus, throwing a distance of 44.04 meters. He then set the school record in the men's javelin with a mark of 50.31 meters, good for third place at the recent STU Under the Lights Invitational.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Irmiris Mendez, Southeastern | Sr. - Orlando, Fla.
Mendez topped both of her events this past weekend at the Tampa Track Classic. Winning both the 100 and the 200 meter dashes.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Molly From, Ave Maria | So. - West Chicago, Ill.
Molly From won the high jump at the first meet of the outdoor season and ranks second in the whole NAIA.
