TAMPA, Fla. — The Sun Conference is proud to announce the 2025 Softball All-Tournament Team, recognizing ten student-athletes for their standout performances during this year’s championship in Clearwater, Fla.

St. Thomas led the way with four players selected to the All-Tournament Team, capturing its second consecutive tournament title after winning three straight games to hoist the trophy.
Anna Toon of St. Thomas was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player following an impressive two-way performance. In the circle, Toon pitched two complete games (16 innings), allowing just three earned runs and striking out 15. At the plate, she went 8-for-12 with an RBI in each contest, including a 3-for-3 performance with two doubles in the winner’s bracket game against Southeastern.
Also representing the Bobcats on the All-Tournament Team were Mya Achenbach, Kaitlynn Martinez, and Victoria Navarro. Achenbach went 7-for-11 with two triples and an RBI in each game. Martinez drove in five runs over the course of the tournament, while Navarro pitched a complete-game shutout in the winner’s bracket matchup against Southeastern and added a 2-for-3 effort at the plate with an RBI.
Southeastern placed three student-athletes on the list: Raylei McKinney, Edan Playa, and Nicole Wasserstrom. Playa threw two complete games—earning wins over New College of Florida and Keiser—before logging 8.1 innings in the championship game, totaling 22.1 innings pitched in the tournament. McKinney recorded two RBI doubles and a sacrifice fly in the win over Keiser. Wasserstrom went 2-for-2 against NCF and hit the game-tying RBI single in the seventh inning of the championship matchup against St. Thomas.
Keiser was represented by Mackenzie Masternak and Lizzy Small. Masternak pitched 16.1 innings for the Seahawks, tallying two wins and nine strikeouts, including 5.1 shutout innings against Webber. Small threw 2.2 perfect innings in the same game, earning the save, and delivered the walk-off single to secure the win.
Taylor Thomas of Webber International rounds out this year’s All-Tournament Team. Thomas pitched two complete games (14 innings), allowing just two earned runs and striking out 12.
