2025 Sun Conference Women’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll Announced

TAMPA, Fla. — SCAD Savannah has been picked as the preseason favorite to win the 2025 Sun Conference Women’s Soccer title, earning 62 points and six first-place votes as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

Last fall was the best season the league has seen, capped off by two Sun Conference teams meeting in the NAIA National Championship match. SCAD and Keiser shared the regular-season crown after both went unbeaten in league play at 7-0-1, with their only blemish a 2-2 draw against each other. The Bees went on to win the conference tournament before knocking off the Seahawks again in the national final.

Keiser checks in second in this year’s poll with 59 points and three first-place votes. Southeastern is third with 46 points, followed by St. Thomas in fourth with 44. Florida Memorial sits fifth with 33 points, and Ave Maria lands sixth with 31.

New College holds the seventh spot with 22 points, Webber International is eighth with 18, and Warner rounds out the poll in ninth with 9.

Conference play kicks off Friday, September 19, with the Sun Conference Tournament set to begin Wednesday, November 5.
